DR. SHAMARIAL ROBERSON

Dr. Roberson is a leading authority in epidemiology, biostatistics, grant and contract management, and evaluation.

She is the former Florida Department of Health Deputy Secretary for Health where she oversaw the planning and direction of four divisions and two offices totaling 1,500 staff.

Dr. Roberson’s understanding of Florida's public health infrastructure system and programs is unmatched. She is known for working tirelessly during the COVID-19 pandemic to implement new strategies to respond to the health crisis, from writing and securing grants to distributing PPE to leading the epidemiology team, and more.
